Christie’s Wine Hong Kong are delighted to present this fascinating auction with two prestigious Single-owner private collections.

Finest and Rarest Wines begins with the first Single-owner collection featuring an extensive selection of finest & rarest Bordeaux, Burgundy & Champagne. Outstanding wines from Bordeaux and Burgundy form the majority of the offering along with wines from the finest producers from Champagne, the Rhône, Spain, Italy and California. This is a carefully curated collection of exceptional wines – only the very best Estates and legendary producers are included in this stellar offering.

The sale also includes some much sought-after wines including a fine offering of Domaine Leflaive Montract across eight vintages; a small but pristine collection of gems from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Domaine d’Auvenay and Coche-Dury; other highlights included a magnum of Henri Jayer 1985 and Burgundies from top domaines.

Following on from this strong start, the auction will be closed with the second Single-owner collection. This magnificent cellar of wines is led by the brightest names in Burgundy and Bordeaux. Highlights includes Domaine de la Romanée-Conti from stellar vintages; Leroy features strongly with Chambertin and Musigny 1995; the depth of this collection is further evidenced by a range of Domaine Rousseau. The collection also features one of the best offerings from Alvaro Palacios, with the famous L’Ermita featuring in bottles, magnums, double-magnums and 5 litre bottles from vintages 1998 through 2016.
