Ancient to Modern Art from the Mougins Museum of Classical Art, Part I

A Collecting Odyssey comprises works of art from the Mougins Museum of Art, formed by Christian Levett. This is the first in a series of six sales, to be held both live and online, in London and New York, between December 2023 and December 2024. 

The first chapter of A Collecting Odyssey will be held in London, during Classic Week, and is cross-category in nature, encompassing works of art from different moments in time all inspired by the Classical world – reflecting the dialogue of the Museum itself – and comprises Greek, Roman and Egyptian masterpieces, which are offered alongside Modern and Contemporary works by Damien Hirst and Antony Gormley.
