Sale Overview

Christie’s celebrates Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art with the relaunch of its online auction in Dubai. The sale will take place 1–16 May, offering a fresh and exciting selection of works in dialogue with the region’s burgeoning art scene. Covering a wide variety of artistic production from the entire region, the sale includes works by artists from the Gulf, the Levant, Iraq, and North Africa with strong female representation. Highlights include works by Etel Adnan, Huguette Caland, Hayv Kahraman, Dana Awartani and Nadia Kaabi-Linke, modernist works from renowned artists such as Shaker Hassan Al Said, Dia Azzawi and Shafic Abboud, as well as celebrated contemporary Emirati artists including Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim and Mohammed Kazem.

A selection of highlights will be on display at Christie’s Dubai, DIFC, from 8–16 May, open on weekdays from 10am–7pm and weekends from 2–7pm. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
