South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art

This June, the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art sale in London will offer a spectacular selection of works from many of the Modern Masters such as Syed Haidar Raza, F.N. Souza, M.F. Husain and from distinguished Contemporary artists such as Subodh Gupta and Bharti Kher amongst many others. Emphasising the growing interest in art from the region, the sale will offer a selection of Pakistani art as well as contemporary photographic works, most notably from the Khoj Collection. Marking the highlight of the sale, Christie's is delighted to be offering the seminal piece Untitled (Mahishasura) by revered artist Tyeb Mehta, a truly remarkable example of the celebrated series.
