Sale Overview

Starting with a selection of pictures and objets d’art from la Villa les Cèdres, acquired by Leopold II, this collections’ sale is one of its kind to be sold at Christie’s Paris.

The sale then continues with an homage to the exploits of the mediaeval trade guilds for this ensemble originating from the collection of Mister Henri Klinger from the High Middle Ages. Next comes the European collection originating in part from the former collection of Her Royal Highness the Princess Murat and more particularly from her mansion in the Rue de Monceau. Finally, the sale ends with the furniture originating from the estate of Mrs Françoise Heftler, who furnished her apartment on the Bois de Boulogne. Charm and elegance define this ensemble.
