Contemporary Edition: New York features over 130 Post-War and Contemporary Prints and Multiples from artists such as Ed Ruscha, Joan Mitchell and Alex Katz; and contemporary works by Basquiat, Yayoi Kusama and Derrick Adams. With estimates starting under $1,000, the sale features lots for those just beginning their collecting journey and seasoned enthusiasts alike.

The Contemporary Edition auction will begin with a selection of prints and works on paper from the Collection of Brooke and Carolyn Alexander. Beginning in 1968, Brooke Alexander was one of the United States’ leading publishers of prints and multiples, working with many major names of 20th Century art including Richard Artschwager, John Baldessari, Jasper Johns, Donald Judd, Bruce Nauman, and Raymond Pettibon, among many others. Highlights from this group include works by many of these artists.
