Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy

Christie’s Hong Kong will hold the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction on 2 December 2020. Meticulously put together for art collectors and enthusiasts, the auctions will feature global collections and timeless masterpieces by classical masters.

This auction is led by the Biography of Mulberry Mistletoe by Ming dynasty calligraphy master Zhu Yunming, and an important calligraphy collection from Japan, which include works by Wang Duo and Fu Shan, among other masters of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Landscape and Calligraphy by Shen Zhou and Wen Zhengming previously in the Iida Family (Takashimaya) collection, Barren Tree and Birds by Bada Shanren, and Flower and Fruits Album by Yun Shouping are also the spotlight of the sale.
