Christie’s is delighted to present its auction of Fine and Rare Wines offered on 9th November at the Geneva Four Seasons Hôtel des Bergues. The sale features a broad range of exceptional wines and spirits from notable collections, starting with a magnificent offering of rare Bordeaux in the most coveted vintages, including a wide range of Petrus bottles and large formats from 1943 to 2015. A sharp selection of champagne follows, a stand out lot features 6 Magnums of Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé 1976 estimated at CHF 10,000-14,000. Following this is an exceptional assortment case of DRC 1990, among other rare burgundies such as Domaine Leroy Romanée-Saint-Vivant 1999. We are also honoured to present one of the most extensive collections of rare wines from Italy we have encountered.  Highlights include an unusual range of top wines from Abruzzo as Valentini or Emidio Pepe, an impressive selection of mature Brunello Di Montalcino from top Estates including Soldera and some legendary vintages of Biondi Santi, as well as the most sought after wines from Piemonte with Barolos from leading producers as Gaja, Conterno, Quintarelli. A very wide range of super toscans wines completes this enviable collection featuring several vintages of Masseto, Ornellaia and Sassicaia among others. Finally, worth noting are two rare and impressive verticals: Montrose from 1908 to 2017 and Mouton from 1940 to 2005.
