This season, First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online will present an exciting selection of post-war and contemporary art as part of 20th/21st Century Week at Christie’s.

We are proud to present a selection of works by exciting female contemporary names such as Brittney Leeanne Williams, Sarah Ball, Emma Webster, France-Lise McGurn, Olivia Sterling, Chloe Wise and Caroline Walker. In addition, we will be offering works by leading artists such as Cecily Brown, Louise Bourgeois, Yayoi Kusama, Damien Hirst and Robert Longo.

The sale will also feature a wonderful selection of works by contemporary African artists such as El Anatsui, Marc Padeu, No Martins, Ishmael Armarh, and Yannick Ackah.

This season, First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online will be presenting a wonderful selection of works from The Collection of Thomas and Doris Ammann. Highlights include works by Philip Taaffe, Enzo Cucchi, Werner Buttner and Eric Fischl. All of the Foundation’s proceeds from the sales will benefit the Thomas and Doris Ammann Foundation, a newly established organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children worldwide.
