First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art

This December, Christie’s New York presents First Open, an online auction featuring today’s most significant and in-demand post-war and contemporary artists. This selection showcases works by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Ernie Barnes, Lynne Drexler and others. Additional highlights include important collections such Loisaida: 1980’s Graffiti and Street Art from the John P. Axelrod Collection; Property from the Collection of Jon Gould; LA Cool: Property from the Laura Lee Stearns Collection. With estimates ranging from $800 to $150,000, First Open offers an extensive survey of 20th and 21st Century art for new and seasoned collectors alike.
