The December Magnificent Jewels sale offers over 380 lots, highlighted by noteworthy gemstones, renowned private collections, and a wide selection of important signed jewels by makers including René Boivin, Bulgari, Cartier, Graff, Harry Winston, Raymond Yard, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels and Verdura.  Featured colored stones include ‘The du Pont Padparadscha’ and an extraordinary 43.10 carat Kashmir sapphire.  This sale presents an array of prominent private collections, including Important Jewels from the Estate of Mrs. Henry Ford II, Property from the Collection of Mary M. And Robert M. Montgomery, Jr., Important Jewels from the Estate of Mireille Lévy, An Important Collection of Objects by Daniel Brush, the Collection of Nina Griscom, the Collection of Barbara Allen de Kwiatkowski, Property from the Collection of Athena Blackburn Sold to Benefit Charitable Causes, and Property Offered in Memory of Lana Chenko-Haddad.  Rounding out the sale are contemporary jewels by leading houses such as Etcetera, Hemmerle and JAR.  The sale also offers the unique opportunity to own a custom ring by JAR, with proceeds from this lot designated for The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.

To be able to ship your property in advance of the holidays, payment for property and/or shipping must be received by on Monday, 30 November for any domestic road shuttles or international airfreight shipments and Friday, 11 December for any domestic or international courier shipments. Please note that Christie’s is not responsible for delays in international shipments due to customs and export licenses.
