Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale

As part of our landmark 20/21 auction series, Christie’s is delighted to present our Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale on 19 October. The auction will offer an exciting selection of works, showcasing the breadth and diversity of British art in the 20^th and 21^st centuries. 

Following on from our highly-successful auctions in March, from Neo-Romanticism, to St Ives, to British Pop, the sale will bring together works from across this dynamic period. The sale will feature a selection of works by artists, including Sir Peter Blake, Ben Nicholson and L.S. Lowry. Alongside this, a range of sculptors will be represented, from Dame Barbara Hepworth to Lynn Chadwick. Christie’s is also honoured to present a wonderful group of works by Edward Wadsworth, which have remained in the artist’s family since their execution. Bringing together pictures and sculpture spanning the century, the sale offers a wide range of works for all collecting tastes.
