Christie’s is thrilled to announce the first Handbags & Accessories single owner sale in the history of the department, and the return of the department to the Christie’s Paris sale room, after a five-year hiatus. MOST COLLECTIBLE BAGS: An Important Private European Collection, an exceptional curated single-owner collection, will take place with a live auction on 27 April. The collection includes the best of the handbag collecting world, with rare Hermès models created within the past two decades. Around the globe, collectors of Hermès will take note of the impressive array of limited-edition styles, discontinued rarities, and spectacular materials and hues.
