Outside In: The Dr. Jeffrey Sherwin Collection

Christie’s is honoured to present Outside In, the dedicated auction of the collection of the late Dr. Jeffrey Sherwin – a GP and councillor who championed Modern British art and was instrumental in creating the Henry Moore Sculpture Gallery in Leeds. To be auctioned on 21 November in London, the sale offers superb examples of Modern British art, including works by Patrick Heron, Roger Hilton and Henri Gaudier-Brzeska. There is a focus in the sale of sculpture from the 1950s, led by Bernard Meadows' Black Crab as well as Family Going for a Walk by Kenneth Armitage.
