We are proud to present the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale this May, featuring work by the iconic masters of post-war art through to the thrilling and innovative makers of the present day. This season’s sale brings together important artists representing the last 75 years of art and culture, including prime examples of Abstract Expressionism by Jackson Pollock and the Color Field movement by Helen Frankenthaler; ground-breaking paintings and drawings by Andy Warhol, Ed Ruscha and Wayne Thiebaud; the important and celebrated output of Alice Neel, Yayoi Kusama and George Condo; and the cutting-edge digital art and exciting new work by today’s voices. Highlights also include works from the prominent collections of Alan and Dorothy Press, Ann and Gordon Getty, and Jacques and Emy Cohenca, as well as commissions to benefit the non-profit Art Into Acres.
