Rarity and Refinement: Treasures from a Distinguished East Asian Collection features 24 lots including exceptional examples of Song, (960-1279), Ming (1368-1644), Qing (1644-1911) and Republic (1912-1949) period porcelain and metalwork. The earliest piece is a Ding ‘lion’ pillow from the Song-Jin period (960-1234) and the most outstanding works of art is a rare, small pink-ground famille rose moonflask, Qianlong mark and period, with a provenance dating back to the late 19th century.
