Russian Art

Outstanding works by Marie Vassilieff and Alexander Volkov lead our Russian Art sale this November. The auction showcases significant pieces from the 17th to the 21st centuries, many from private collections. Among the highlights are fine works by Ivan Aivazovsky, a striking canvas by Petr Konchalovsky inspired by the autumn harvest, an important icon presented to Tsesarevich Aleksei in 1912 and a rare star of the Order of St. Catherine. Further standouts include exquisite works by Fabergé and a Scandinavian collection of porcelain.
