The Collector: English and European 18th and 19th Century Furniture, Ceramics, Silver & Works of Art

Our specialists are pleased to present The Collector sale on 23 October, highlighting approximately 270 lots of decorative arts. The eclectic grouping offers 18th and 19th century silver and ceramics alongside 18th and 19th century English and European furniture and a series of Grand Tour items, particularly souvenir models of monuments that Northern Europeans had viewed during their travels.

Standout examples of Meissen accompany groups of silver from Buccellati, George II giltwood tables and more. With paint generously provided by Farrow & Ball to bring the photoshoot and exhibition deeper into the imagination, the standout viewing will open 19 October at Christie’s New York.
