Une passion surréaliste : Collection Inna & Boris Salomon

Sale Overview

The Inna & Boris Salomon Collection sale will directly open the 20th Century Art Week in Paris. This surrealist collection is highlighted by Francis Picabia’s transparence, Rubi painted in 1929, that was formerly in the Léonce Rosenberg and has remained in the Salomon family for over 60 years. Several other works by Victor Brauner, Wolfgang Paalen, Wifredo Lam, Óscar Domínguez and Agustín Cárdenas. Further highlights include a rare carved volcanic stone attributed to Antoine Rabany (Barbus Müller),  rare drawings by Salvador Dalí and Odilon Redon as well as a major work by Max Ernst, Universaphrodite painted in 1947, that was previously in the collection of Man Ray.
