The tapering cylindrical bowl on a rising pedestal foot with a 'gem' set knop, the foot and lower body cast and chased with scalework, the foot with a further band of foliage blossoms and a twisted wire motif, the detachable cover spiral fluted and with a foliage border below a finial cast as a knight, supported on 'gem' set wing motifs, chased with a coat-of-arms, and with further vacant shields, marked near the rim and on cover bezel, the cover bezel further struck with the mark of Ramsden and Carr

gross weight 74 oz. (2,300 gr.)
