With gilt-finished movement, 17 jewels, eccentric white enamel dial with Breguet numerals, central alarm hand, surrounded by a painted polychrome scene of Venice with a multicolor gilt automaton depicting a gondolier rowing a gondola with a woman with a parasol while a standing gentleman plays the mandolin, in the distance a sailboat rocks in the waves, the case with coin-edged band with alarm winding and setting crown, the back engraved with musical trophy on a sun-burst design surrounded by a foliate and scroll motif, the automaton and music activated by pressing a button throught the gilt cuvette along with musical keywind hole, cuvette and dial signed, cuvette numbered, with original gilt lyre-shape winding key
