Artist's Resale Right ("Droit de Suite"). Artist's Resale Right Regulations 2006 apply to this lot, the buyer agrees to pay us an amount equal to the resale royalty provided for in those Regulations, and we undertake to the buyer to pay such amount to the artist's collection agent. Lo scultore, antico o moderno, si confronta principalmente con il tema del peso. Materiali come bronzo, pietra, marmo sono scelti per la loro pesantezza, la loro gravità senza tempo. La visione artistica di Fausto Melotti è completamente differente. Le sue sculture sono leggere e flessibili, spesso ironiche; meno pesano, più sono innovative e personali. Omaggio a Hieronymus Bosch illustra perfettamente questa poetica della leggerezza che, una volta di più, avvicina lo scultore allo scrittore Italo Calvino, segnando un ulteriore punto di contatto tra due dei massimi esponenti della cultura europea del dopoguerra.
