Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with raised gold indexes in 1951 and its subsequent sale on 3 October 1951. Furthermore delivered with a copy of the invoice of Patek Philippe for the overhaul of the watch in Geneva in 2006.

Production of reference 2442 was launched in 1948. According to research, the present watch is one of less than 10 examples of this reference in pink gold to appear in public to date.
