Originally made in cooperation with Pan Am for their pilots, the GMT-Master model soon became also the watch of choice for military pilots: by keeping the rotating bezel at "12", the watch indicates both civilian and military or 24 hour time. It therefore comes to no surprise that armed forces, such as the Fuerza Aérea del Péru, would supply the GMT-Master to their airmen.
