1579 AND CIRCA 1580
Each painted with Venus riding a dolphin while holding a billowing sail, one named for ·A·D·PORTVLAC· and dated 1579, the other ·A·D·LANBRV· and SPQR on a banner, the dark-blue ground with sgraffito scrolls decorated with ochre and blue trophies and scrolls within ochre line rims (slight rim chipping, the first broken through and restuck with associated losses, the second with neck restuck, chipping to footrim, crack to body and short hairline crack to rim)
