Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1971 and its subsequent sale on February 11 of the following year. Further accompanied by the original Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated February 11, 1972, leather presentation box and outer packaging.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 3578 from 1969 until approximately 1982. The watch originally used the caliber 175 until it was replaced in 1977 with the caliber 177. The present watch is one of three known to the market.
