Rectangular on four bun feet, with drop-ring handles and double hinged cover, fitted with two glass ink-bottles, one with an associated silver-mount, engraved with an inscription, marked on base, side, handles, mount and inside covers

The inscription reads 'Presented to Viscount Cowdray, by The Hurlingham Club Polo Committee In recognition of his invaluable services in connection with the International Polo Matches in America. 1930'
