Of typical form, the tapering cylindrical handle enameled in translucent peach over a wavy guilloché ground, with a garnet finial, the lower body set with two ruby cabochons suspending laurel swags, the reeded blotter mount with two hardstone cabochons, enclosing a blotter flanked by stoppers chased with stiff-leaf motifs, marked on mount
