Mechanical jeweled movement, repeating on two hammers, gold cuvette, translucent silvered enamel dial on engine-turned background, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, blued steel back plate, all surmounted by a polychrome enamel automaton scene depicting "Father of time" and two putti striking the bells in unison with the repeating, a cornucopia below the dial, circular case, dust cover, repeating slide in the band, case and cuvette numbered, movement signed underneath a hammer
