Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with gold bracelet in 1972 and its subsequent sale on 3 February 1978. The extract further states that the present watch was originally fitted with a sunburst silvered dial with applied yellow gold indexes.

The present watch has been upgraded with the present unusual dial, featuring Roman numerals. Later added, this appealing dial renders the watch a very unique look.

To the best of our knowledge, the present watch has never been offered at auction before.
