AN APRICOT SILK BROCADE 'NINE DRAGON' PANEL
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The panel is woven with nine five-clawed dragons, each contesting a flaming pearl amidst ruyi-form clouds in gold, green, blue, ochre, and white, above the terrestrial diagram, all on an apricot ground. The whole is set on a pale yellow silk backing.
