Lot Essay

According to the Archives of Universal, the present watch was manufactured in 1971.

This extremely attractive timepiece embodies the carefree spirit of the 1970s with its flamboyant multi-colored dial. The peculiar chromatic scheme is based on the interplay of blue and white details and present some unusual features, chiefly the broad white “T” that serves as frame for the subsidiary dials, and the most unexpected luminous register hands, a detail hardly ever seen in watchmaking. Examples of the model bearing this dial (dubbed "Exotic" by Universal) are extremely rare finds.
