The Rolex Day-Date II reference 218235 is part of the remarkable family of Day-Date watches that have earned them the nickname the “President” since President Lyndon Baines Johnson formerly wore a Day-Date in yellow gold. The present watch is in the proprietary “Everose” pink gold developed by Rolex.

This watch has dazzling rubies at the 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock, reflecting the stylistic designs going back to some of the earliest Day-Dates where gems were often placed as only those two markers.
