Lot Essay

Extremely rare and attractive, this skeletonised pocket watch by Cartier is exquisitely crafted. Beyond the two sapphire crystals which allow the wearer to admire the full movement from both sides, to the outer edge one cannot escape the beauty of the diamond and sapphire-set bezel. Together with the watch bow, the circular-cut diamonds weigh approximately 3 carats total. The tapered baguette-cut sapphires count 45 in total. Offered with its Cartier International Certificate as well as presentation box, this 'complete' timepiece represents a one-of-a-kind opportunity for the discerning collector.
