二十一世纪艺术晚间拍卖

Kicking off our May marquee series, the 21st Century Evening Sale is the cornerstone of the 20th/21st Century Art auctions. Reflecting the seismic shifts to the artistic landscape in the late 20th century, this sale presents masterworks from the 1980s through to the visionary expressions of today's foremost creators. No other auction more vividly captures the art of our generation: where we are, how we got here and where we’re going next. Among the standouts this season are a masterpiece from Brice Marden’s Propitious Garden of the Plane Image series, Jean-Michel Basquiat’s most revered 1982 stretcher bar painting and a stunning monumental abstract from Julie Mehretu. These iconic artworks will be juxtaposed with the innovative contributions of contemporary trailblazers such as Nicolas Party, Vojtěch Kovařík and Marina Perez Simão.
