Following the success of the Geneva May 2022 auction, totalling 23,840,700 CHF with a 100% sell-through rate, Christie’s is proud to present the Rare Watches Geneva November auction, comprising of 128 lots from the world’s most reputable brands. Offering a great variety of vintage and modern timepieces alike, the sale will include icons of Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille and many more.
Curated with passion and the aim to offer wristwatches of the upmost rarity, the sale will offer the iconic Rolex reference 6263 Paul Newman “Legend”. A major event for collectors, the chronograph is one of only three publicly known examples and can be considered as one of the most exclusive Rolex timepieces to have ever been offered at auction.
Rich in Patek Philippe, the Rare Watches Geneva auction will present one of the most prestigious and desirable Patek Philippe reference 1518 in gold known to date. Bestowed with the Cartier retailer signature at 6 O’clock and Cartier inventory number beneath its lug, the wristwatch is certified by Cartier and offered for the first time at auction.
Of prime importance for Audemars Piguet collectors, the sale will present the first Royal Oak ref. 5402SA, numbered 1 and accompanied with certification from Audemars Piguet.
With a great modern curation, the Geneva November auction will aim at presenting collectors some of the most sought-after timepieces in the current market. Lead by the already iconic Patek Philippe Reference 5711/1A-018, created to celebrate the 170-year association between Patek Philippe and Tiffany & Co., the auction will feature the highly exclusive Richard Mille RM27-01 “Nadal”, rare timepieces from Audemars Piguet, F.P. Journe, Kari Voutilainen and many others.
