With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1964 and its subsequent sale on 7 June 1974.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never been offered in public before. It is furthermore believed to be one of only three examples of a reference 570 in white gold featuring such outer Arabic 60 seconds divisions as opposed to the beady seconds sale commonly found on this model.

The large Calatrava model reference 570 was introduced into the market in 1938, featuring either subsidiary or sweep centre seconds. It was available in stainless steel, yellow, pink and white gold and platinum.
