The present watch is a highly unusual example of Rolex 1930s production, distinguished by the modernistic, slender case design and construction: the case consists of two parts, the curved stainless steel bottom and the superimposed, massive "snap on" bezel in gold, rendering it a futuristic, streamlined appearance.

Preserved in very good overall condition, the rarity is further enhanced by the unusual retailer signature C. Bucherer's.
