The present four watches, each blessed with a "one-of-kind" type of dial, display a perfect combination of mechanical complexity, dial design and exclusivity. Throughout literature, no other set such as the present had ever been released to the public until today and must be considered as part of the holy grail per se of all 5004 references. Most evident to the eyes of the beholder, this series of 5004 are fitted with four different kinds of precious stones, each perfectly matching their respective case metals. All four dials are fully confirmed by the Certificate of Origin delivered by Patek Philippe, reaffirming the extreme rarity of this special set, most certainly commissioned on special request. To many collectors, reference 5004 is one of the greatest wristwatches ever made and is often mentioned as the watch with the most promising future on the market. The present set of 5004 was originally sealed and never worn by the collector. Further to his request, this set was unsealed to enable Christie's to illustrate them in their catalogues as these four watches are for the very first time available to the public, and furthermore to allow them to tour around the globe to encounter Christie's clients. Christie's is honored to have been chosen to offer this only known set of four reference 5004 for auction.

注意事项
Prospective purchasers are advised that several countries prohibit the importation of property containing materials from endangered species, including but not limited to coral, ivory, tortoiseshell and crocodile. Accordingly, prospective purchasers should familiarize themselves with relevant customs regulations prior to bidding if they intend to import this lot into another country. On occasion, Christie's has a direct financial interest in lots consigned for sale which may include guaranteeing a minimum price or making an advance to the consignor that is secured solely by consigned property. This is such a lot. This indicates both in cases where Christie's holds the financial interest on its own, and in cases where Christie's has financed all or a part of such interest through a third party. Such third parties generally benefit financially if a guaranteed lot is sold successfully and may incur a loss if the sale is not successful.
