With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present table clock with white dial and black Arabic numerals as well as with two horse heads in 1969 and its subsequent sale on 8 July 1969. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe red presentation box.

Patek Philippe made very few reference 817 solar-powered clocks from the mid to late 1960s. The present timepiece is the first of them to appear at auction.
