The Tudor Monte Carlo chronograph, an icon of 1970s design, is amongst the firm's most popular models. This historic chronograph was produced for only a few years and enjoys nowadays a great popularity amongst collectors. Reference 7149/0 is part of the second series of chronographs produced by Tudor from 1971 to 1977 and known as "série 7100". Previously and for one year only in 1970, Tudor commercialized the "série 7000" with references 7031/0 and 7032/0.

To revitalize this legendary chronograph - imbued with the spirit of chic and sophisticated holiday destinations of the 1970s- TUDOR reinterpreted it and launched the Heritage Chrono Blue in 2013. This modern version of the icon of the 1970s incorporates the faithful reproduction of the key characteristics of the historic model.
