Signed A.H. Rodanet & Co., this watch was made for the famous 19th century Parisian retailer that specialized in selling watches and chronometers. Located at 38 Rue Vivienne, this store was one of Patek Philippe’s largest retailers at the time in France.

The presently offered watch features the Latin motto SPECTEMUR AGENDO meaning Let us be judged by our acts.

The purity and clarity of this repeater is second to none and the enamel dial and case construction allow the movement to strike the hours today as well as it struck 143 years ago when it was originally made.
