MOVEMENT: Manual, Cal. 727, 17 jewels
DIAL: Matte black, baton numerals, three sunken engine-turned silvered subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minute and 12 hour registers
CASE: Stainless steel, bezel with tachymeter scale graduate to 200 UPH, screw down back stamped 6263 inside, screw down crown and pushers, 37.5 mm. diam.
BRACELET/CLASP: Stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet stamped 78350, deployant clasp stamped J3, end links stamped 571, overall length approximately 175 mm.

One of the later manual winding Daytona, with the automatic reference 16520 being introduced in 1988, this particular reference 6265, so called Big Red, is distinguished by its attractive patina throughout with nicely aged luminous materials to the unmarked dial, a case retaining its original finish and with sharp edges and a bracelet correctly date coded for 1985.
