Pomegranate No. 3

Having graduated from the Renmin University of China’s School of Arts in 2007, Li Tingting lives and works between Beijing and Shenzhen. Creatively exploring the expressive power of monochromatic paintings, she depicts everyday objects from chandeliers to fruits with a focus on fluid lines and ink washes approximating abstraction. In Pomegranate No. 3, Li’s radiant use of the diluted colour blue evokes the sentiment of the passing of time.
