Christie’s Design auction on 4 June features a curated selection of works ranging from the turn of the 20th century to Contemporary design. An extraordinary cabinet by Eugène Printz and Jean Dunand, leads the French Art Deco chapter. Other highlights of the sale include an iconic “Miss Blanche” chair by Shiro Kuramata, Les Oies and sheep by Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne and exceptional sculptures by Harry Bertoia from the Estate of Mary and Bruce Goodman. The sale also features a curated selection of works by Tiffany Studios, rare pieces by Diego Giacometti from private collections, amongst others. The viewing begins 31 May at our Rockefeller Center galleries.
