With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial, enamel hour markers and leather strap in 1942 and its subsequent sale on 10 December 1942.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never been offered at auction before and is furthermore believed to be the first example of a reference 1270 to appear in public to date.

Reference 1270 was in production in the early 1940s and was made in a very small series only.
