Born Springfield, Illinois, 1943. Studied at Chouinard Art Institute (now CalArts), 1966-68 and the Otis Art Institute, 1968-72. Exhibitions include: Museum of Modern Art, New York, 1999; White Cube, London, 2002; Whitechapel Gallery, London, 2005. His work is in several public collections including Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Chicago and Tate Britain, London. He lives in New York.
