FIRST EDITION OF DOISNEAU'S 'BEST BOOK' (The Photobook). Doisneau, who grew up in the Paris suburbs saw his pictures '"as self-portraits, the reflection of this absurd scenery [he] detested" yet viewed with genuine understanding and unsentimental warmth' (101 Books).
