Octavo (285 x 216mm). Illustrated throughout with approximately 300 black and white photographs, many double-page, and including a large fold-out. Original white paper-covered boards, spine and front cover lettered in gilt, original slipcase (minor rubbing on the boards, slipcase bumped).
FIRST EDITION. An excellent copy of this elegantly designed Renault company book. The dynamic lay-out and occasional New Vision perspective evoke the best of USSR In Construction, and capture the factory in glorious post-war recovery. Doisneau began his career at Renault, until he was dismissed for indiscipline.
