The present watch appears to be in new old stock condition and is still retaining the original sales tag, parts of the factory protective film to the back, bracelet, buckle and box.

The Memomatic model was launched in 1970 and incorporated two world premieres in an alarm wristwatch: it was the first automatic watch with one barrel powering simultaneously the time movement and the alarm function but also the first alarm mechanism triggered to the exact minute. The display is composed of two moving discs indexed to the striking mechanism, a triangle for the hours and a double line for the minutes.
